This 15 day walking safari in Zambia combines North & South Luangwa National Park

Day 1
Depart from London Heathrow with British Airways to Lusaka on the evening flight.

Day 2
Arrive in Lusaka this morning, transferring onto the internal flight to Mfuwe. A representative of Remote Africa Safaris will greet you at the airport and your safari begins. Spend your first night at Tafika Camp and enjoy and afternoon game drive.

Day 3 - 6
After a hearty breakfast, start your walk out of camp heading for Chikoko Camp.

Chikoko Camp
A small and exclusive bush camp in South Luangwa. Chikoko is only accessible on foot and offer a unique bush experience, and ideal camp for those that are keen to get away from the restrictions and inactivity of game drives.

The experience of being on foot in these isolated and natural surroundings cannot be beaten. The camp offers accommodation for a maximum of 6 people with en-suite facilities and full support is provided with an experienced walking guide, armed scout and chef as well as general camp staff.  At Chikoko, rooms are built 3 metres above ground and provide a wonderful vantage point to observe the surrounding area.

Day 7 - 10
Head back to Tafika this morning and onto Lukuzi airstrip for the flight to North Luangwa National Park.

Mwaleshi Camp
Mwaleshi is located in the very remote North Luangwa National Park and is only a 45-minute flight, and is found on a scenic bend of the Mwaleshi River, the camp thrives on its reputation as being a truly special and remarkable place, unlike any other. There are few roads here so all activities are done on foot; a day trip to the Mwaleshi Falls is rated by some as one of Zambia's top highlights. Despite being so far away from civilisation you still have all the necessities to make life comfortable yet refreshingly simple.

Day 11
Fly out of camp today back to Lukuzi, your driver will meet you at the airport and drive you back to Mfuwe Airport. Connect with the regional flight to Lusaka, on arrival a representative of Chaminuka will meet you and drive you to the lodge for overnight accommodation.

Day 12
An early transfer this morning back to Lusaka to catch the British Airways flight back to London Heathrow International, arriving later this evening.
