Just a short drive from Cape Town, the Winelands region of the Western Cape is famous for the huge variety of vineyards, breath-taking scenery and the rich culture and history dating back centuries. The popular university town of Stellenbosch reflects the strong Cape Dutch influence in the architecture of the houses along the oak-lined streets.
