Etosha National Park

The Etosha National Park is regarded by many as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The vast white calcrete pan was once the biggest lake in Africa.

It has great concentrations of game, especially in the dry winter months, and there are wonderful views out onto the salt-pans which dominate the centre of the park.

Despite being semi arid the park is home to over 144 mammal species including elephant, zebra, giraffe, cheetah and leopard, as well as rare antelope species like black faced impala, damar dik-dik, suni and roan antelope.
