Lake Nakuru
Providing a classic Kenyan backdrop, Lake Nakuru is famous for the thousands of flamingos attracted to its alkaline waters. But it is not just this majestic sight with draws visitors in, Nakuru national park is a protected haven for both white and black rhino and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, distinguishable by their large patchwork pale brown markings.

The landscape around the park is truly spectacular, with the Menengai crater to the north, the Bahati hills to the north east, the Lion Hill ranges to the east, Eburu crater to the south and the Mau escarpment to the west, it’s easy to see why this is one of Kenya’s most loved areas.
