There are several lodges within the Park and self drive or organised safaris are possible.
The 75,000 hectare malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve is a triumph of conservation when 10,00 head of game were reintroduced in Operation Phoenix. Now several excellent luxury lodges offer day and night game drives into this scenically beautiful Reserve, which now boasts Africa’s second largest elephant population.
