Situated in the north-west corner of the vast Busanga Plains of Kafue National Park on the edge of a 'tree' island is Kapinga Camp. This remote camp is in one of the last remaining unspoilt areas on the planet and offers exceptional game viewing opportunities. Like its sister camp Busanga, Kapinga Camp caters for a maximum of 8 guests in four spacious and luxurious en-suite Meru-style tents. Like the camp, tents are set amongst the trees with plenty of privacy and with views out acros the plains. The main camp area consists of tented lounge, bar, dining area, campfire and a small pool beneath a shady tree. Game drives are available during the day, whilst night drives give you the thrill of seeing big cats feasting on their prey. Guided walking safaris and birdwatching trips are also on offer. The palins teem with wildlife and are home to buffalo, zebra, elephants, wildebeest, cheetah and prides of lion, as well as an abundance of bird life. |
