Busanga Bush Camp lies in the heart of the Busanga Plains, a vast expanse of grassy seasonal floodplains that extends as far as the eye can see. The camp is situated among shady sycamore fig trees and can accommodate only eight guests at a time maximum in four well appointed en-suite tents. The bar and lounge are under canvas open to the views across the plains. Whilst breakfast may be served in the lounge area with views of game, the main dining area is a little further back under the shade of of a large majestic tree. Most meals are taken in the open-air in the dining area or around the camp boma. Game activities include day and night game drives under the instruction of experienced and knowlegable guides, as well as guided walks and birdwatching. In winter you can experience amazing sunrises and sunsets as the mist from the wetland plains rises in the process of drying out. The plains teem with wildlife and offer some of the very best lion viewing in Africa. |
