Mwaleshi Camp  (North Luangwa National Park)

Mwaleshi Camp is located in the very remote North Luangwa National Park and is only a 40 minute flight away from the local air strip at Tafika. Flight transfers can be arranged for you at the time of booking.

Found on a scenic bend of the Mwaleshi River, the camp thrives on its reputation as being a truly special and remarkable place, unlike any other. There are few roads here so most activities are done on foot.

Mwaleshi is a grass pole bush camp with four thatched reed chalets that can accommodate up to eight persons. Hand built and finished with local reeds they have en suite toilets and outside bush showers with amazing views across the river. All chalets face across the river.

The camp has an excellent reputation for its management, bush cuisine and its well trained guides. All safaris are on foot.

When you stay for 3 nights or longer there is usually the opportunity of a day trip to the Mwaleshi Falls, which is rated by some as one of Zambia's top highlights. Despite being so far away from civilisation you still have all the necessities to make life comfortable yet refreshingly simple.
