This luxurious permanent tented camp is perched above the trees stretching over the seemingly endless wilderness south west of Mikumi National Park. Vuma translated from Swahili means "a good rumour that is spread with the blowing wind". Now a reality rather than just a rumour, it is the ideal place to evoke the true spirit of Africa.

The 16 tents are large and comfortable with a rather old fashioned colonial decor. As with all facilities, the tents are en-suite and have a shady verandah. The dining and bar area overlooks the swimming pool, creating an oasis of tranquility in the dusty hot climate of the lowlands.
