This is the only small, personalised camp in Mikumi and, set up on a rocky kopje on the Mkata flood plain, it presides over the best game viewing area of the park, the Mwanamboga waterhole.

Exclusive camping African style, combines creature comforts with the real bush experience; ideal for those wishing to be in the "thick of it" immersed amongst the wildlife. 8 custom designed tents raised on wooden platforms are sited around the rock kopje overlooking the floodplain.

The keys to an outstanding game drive are experience, knowledge and a suitable vehicle. All game drives around the park are taken in open 4 wheel drive vehicles. These vehicles have been designed to ensure maximum visibility for all passengers.
