Zimbali Lodge is set in KwaZulu Natal’s lush, subtropical coastal belt and has been built in a forest surrounded by a championship 18-hole Tom Weiskopf golf course. Zimbali is Zulu for "valley of flowers" and is located in the heart of naturally occurring lakes and wetlands.

As a protected environment its surroundings are also home to a wide variety of small wildlife, butterflies and bird life. Seventy-six rooms and suites are situated in small lodges dotted around the magnificent gardens.

The intimate colonial-style restaurant caters for indoor and outdoor dining and has sweeping views over the Indian Ocean. The menu comprises fresh daily produce and is complemented by a selection of fine wines. Zimbali has all weather tennis courts, a private beach, outdoor pool, a health spa, conference facilities and the golf club has a fully stocked PRO shop.

Zimbali is 42km north of Durban and is also in close proximity to a number of tourist attractions, including the traditional Zulu village of Shakaland, Crocodile Creek, Zulu Battlefields, Chaka’s Rock and Hluhluwe Game Reserve.
