Located in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the Bwindi Forest, Bwindi Lodge is an eco-lodge surrounded by gorilla, chimpanzee and monkey territory. Listening to the many noises of the forest from the comfort of camp is quite an experience.

Guests are accommodated in 8 bandas (thatched roof cottages) with en-suite facilities and private verandahs, which have been strategically placed amongst the trees with minimal impact upon the environment, or its surroundings. Each banda has a traditional safari outdoor bucket shower too, for thosewanting to be close to nature.

Chefs prepare sumptuous feasts for returning explorers after a day investigating the park. Typically gorilla and monkey trekking safaris are the highlight of each day, as well as cultural visits amongst the Rwandan tribesfolk. There are also birdwatcing safaris to view the wealth of birdlife living near the river and amongst the trees of the forest.
